Product Info for Wolf Performance Optics WPA PN22K Day and Night Sight
The PN22K is an innovative design which combines features of a day and night vision device into one professional grade unit. To accomplish this, the PN22K has two parallel channels, night and daylight, which the user can seamlessly switch between by merely rotating a knob. This allow a rifleman to engage targets using only one optic in both day and night scenarios. The PN22K features 3x magnification and either a Generation 2+ or 3 image intensifier tube. Developed for professional use, the PN22K mounts easily to a Mil Std 1913 Picatinny rail.
The day channel features 3x magnification, a 21mm objective lens and generates a 7mm Exit Pupil. The night channel features 3x magnification and a 50mm objective lens. The night side is automatically turned off when switched to the daylight channel. The daylight channel can be utilized as an IR illuminator for use in complete darkness when the right channel is being used. The sight is powered by a single 1.5 volt AA battery. Battery life with the IR illuminator turned off is 16 hours. The sight is shock resistant and capable of handling the recoil impulse of .03-.06 level cartridges.
With the PN22k there's no need for 2 sighting systems for your rifle or to remove your day optic and replace it with a night sight. This system is simple to use, robustly constructed and features impressive performance. Recognition range with the Generation 3 IIT is 450 meters. Adjustments in 1cm clicks with 80cm total adjustment available and the user friendly reticle is illuminated. The sight is 12.6 long and weighs 45.8 ounces. A unique combination day/night sight. Easily switch from day to night. 3x magnification. Generation 2+ or Generation 3 image intensifier. Generation 3 has a 450 meter recognition range. Illuminated reticle. IR illuminator.
